Bills restaurant stands out for its variety of vegan options, such as the recently enjoyed vegan wellington. However, past disappointments lingered, particularly regarding the lengthy availability of an unappealing cauliflower steak. While the atmosphere can be peaceful during quieter midweek visits, some patrons have noted organizational issues, including limited sharing boards and missing key components in dishes, like hummus with the halloumi shawarma. Additionally, while the vibrant atmosphere is enhanced by music, patrons found it excessively loud. Dessert options remain sparse, prompting calls for more inventive choices to elevate the dining experience.
I had lunch at this restaurant on Tuesday, July 4th. I arrived at 11:45 and was seated at a table for one. I noticed the mac and cheese on the menu and decided to pair it with a white wine spritzer. The service was very prompt and the staff was friendly, although not overly chatty.
Despite a few mistakes such as missing fries with the burger or chicken with the salad, the meal was excellent.
Bills always offers a few vegan menu options for both starters and mains. However, I was disappointed when they had the cauliflower "steak" on the menu for a long time - it wasn't good and I didn't go back until it was removed. During my recent visit, I enjoyed a delicious vegan wellington. But I was disappointed with the limited dessert options of only lemon sorbet or coconut ice cream. I think Bills should be more creative with their dessert choices!
Had a great breakfast, really wide range of options on the menu, excellent service and a really lovely atmosphere.
I had a fantastic time at this restaurant. The food and service were top-notch. Thank you for a great experience.
