I visited for the first time and absolutely loved the small plates. The food was incredibly fresh and tasty. The service was exceptional; our server, Taylor, was exactly the kind of server you'd hope for every time you dine out. I went to this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday. I ordered the Croque Madame, which was delicious! My husband really enjoyed the hot pastrami sandwich - he can't stop talking about it! The service was excellent and the atmosphere had a nice mix of simplicity and elegance. Definitely recommend trying it out!
We tried the 7-course chef's tasting menu and it was amazing. Although it's more of a special occasion meal, it's worth the price. The portions were generous and allowed us to truly savor each dish. There was a good variety of food on offer. If you enjoy being adventurous and surprised, you must not miss this experience. If surprises aren't your thing, the a la carte menu also looked great. The chef clearly knows their stuff.
Overall, the experience at this restaurant was mediocre. The chicken and grits were delicious, as well as the croque madame. The service was slow, but our waitress was friendly. Unfortunately, the steak and egg dish was missing the egg when it arrived, and by the time it did come out, the other parts of the dish were cold.
Tasting menu was great; really enjoyed (ton of food, we rolled out). Service was excellent and entire flow was well done. Front room décor is a little bland for my taste; could use some 'sprucing '. Minor detail thing overall.
Pretty nice place overall, wish i had ordered the burger medium rare but it is what it is. Wish the owner was not a blue lives matter flag-flier, but overall the food was pretty good.
