The restaurant offers affordable prices for a nice average breakfast, with a $5 check-in offer on Yelp. The lobster rolls and crispy fries were tasty, but the negative attitude of the waitresses left a bad impression. Despite usually being satisfied with the food, a recent experience with stuffed peppers and sloppy food handling was disappointing. On the positive side, the restaurant offers huge and tasty portions with a Greek twist, including dishes like spinach pie and moon-sized pancakes. The homemade food, including meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and green beans, was delicious, although there was a minor issue with wet lettuce in the salad. The outstanding service from the waitress and amazing food will definitely bring back diners for another visit.
I love this old school diner. Breakfast is great, wait staff joyful and very attentive. Highly recommend this gem.
I spend a lot of money here and always satisfied for the most part but tonight took the cake. I have never seen a stuffed pepper loaded with mushy rice and a touch of hamburg. Its the other way around. Someone needs to follow a recipe. And to top it off, the girl food prepping sneezed twice, raising her arms in the air instead of covering herself. Just gross, especially in these times.
Went in for the lobster rolls with my girl. I love the lobster rolls. Filled up and great taste. Especially the price for what you get. Especially the crispy fries. Excellent. The thing that made the experience negative was the attitude the waitresses have given. As if they were to good to serve us for some reason. Wish they had friendlier staff. Definitely would?ve given these guys a better review.
I typically spend a good amount of money at this restaurant and have usually been pleased with my experiences, but tonight was a different story. I ordered a stuffed pepper that was overstuffed with mushy rice and barely had any ground beef in it. The balance should really be the other way around. Clearly, more attention needs to be paid to the recipe. To make matters worse, the young woman preparing the food sneezed twice without covering her mouth, which was pretty off-putting, especially considering the current health concerns.
I visited the restaurant with my girlfriend specifically for the lobster rolls, and I must say, I absolutely loved them. They were both satisfying and tasty, especially for the price. The crispy fries were also excellent. Unfortunately, my experience was dampened by the attitude of the waitresses. They came across as if they were too good to serve us, which was quite disappointing. If the staff had been more welcoming, I would have certainly given a much higher rating.
