Was Anonym at Trader Jacks a mag?
Had lunch with two colleagues here today...our local contact took us there. At first I thought what are we doing in a supermarket but I was quickly converted. I had the TJ burger and for $16 it was great value. A really really good burger and the cappuccino was also great. A very friendly lady serving topped off a great lunch. A bit out of the way but well worth seeking out. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Trader Jacks:
I come here some mornings, the convenience of it being close to works is a winner for me. I do however have a few concerns. The place is generally always empty during the week yet I can still wait up to 15 minutes for a coffee. At times great sometimes bitter. I think it's time management stepped up a bit in the year I have been coming here staff are not improving. View all feedback.

Been here a few times and love the range of produce in the store. Relaxed setting if I want a bite too. Great salads. However not a good vibe from lady who takes coffee orders. She needs basics in customer service. Can't even say hello and thank you. Disappointing.
Second time we had brunch at Trader Jacks. This time French Toast and Eggs Bennie and both are seriously good and big meals so plan for a late dinner.The French Toast is very, very good and includes bacon, fruit and fruit sauce.When you finish your meal there is then the opportunity to browse the retail section for some great ingredients including fresh fruit and vegetables, sauces,cold cuts to prepackaged meals and a great range of ice creams.
Leave my car to be waited and went towards Darwin city. Quite a lot of places to eat breakfast, but comments like “we offer prefabricated bacon and egg sandwiches” or “No that we run late, but I’m on the way for your ride now....Pamela/ DRV4LYF driving school prof bacon” and when I asked for a carpaccio, it was said, “we do ordinary coffee, not the chic stuff.” Then I found Trader Jacks. Nothing was too much trouble. The menu showed a big breakfast, but when I asked for little breakfast, I got exactly what I wanted. The help is generous, eggs cooked as I like it. Bacon tasted by bacon and not some underlying hints of garlic or chili!!! Coffee delicious and the amenities are perfect. Plenty of space, air conditioning, good parking, background noise not overwhelming and no loud kitchen noises. Best not Yuppies, although it's early on a Tuesday morning! Is this the perfect coffee shop? Let's be.
I tried the smashed avocado and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious flavors. The staff was very friendly and the café also functions as a grocery store. The only downside was the weak coffee I ordered, even when I asked for a stronger one it didn't make much of a difference. It must be the brand they use.
