We visited this restaurant a few years ago and were not impressed. However, my wife suggested we give it another try today. I'm glad we did, because we had the best oysters I've ever tasted. They had a special twist to them that made them stand out. The oysters were excellent and the calamari and buffalo wings were also delicious. I ordered takeout from this restaurant and ended up throwing away more than half of the food after just one bite. Nothing we ordered was enjoyable, especially the chicken parm sandwich which was the worst I've ever had. The chicken was dry, the bread was stale, and the sauce was terrible. I gave this restaurant three stars instead of four because they had a poor selection of beer and bourbon. Many of the taps weren't working and they didn't have Sam Adams or Heineken. I settled for a Corona Light, which I didn't enjoy, so I switched to Maker's Mark. Despite the lack of beer choices, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and the waitress was very attractive. I had their pizza before and found it to be delicious. The meatballs were excellent and the burgers were good as well. I understand that maintaining inventory during a pandemic can be challenging, so I will definitely return to JW. I was the only customer there on a Sunday afternoon, which is not sustainable for their business. I encourage others to support this local restaurant if they live nearby.
