Was Awaynext at Pho Mango a mag?
Good food, large portions, they take credit cards and are easy to find located in a mall with exterior access). If I could change one thing, provide complimentary jasmine tea like most Vietnamese restaurants. View all feedback.
What Douglas S dislikes about Pho Mango:
On the hole, the food was pretty good and the staff friendly. Please note ours was a take out order. Unfortunately, after asking several times if the spring roll could be made with chicken instead of pork, an error was made and a pork spring roll was included in the order. My daughter, who requested the chicken, has an allergy to pork and was ill that evening. It was unfortunate, I am hopeful that it was an oversight... View all feedback.
My fav here is the House Pad Thai. I think it's the best in Windsor. They also have great Pho. Not crazy about the Wonton Soup though. It is inconsistent in flavour. One time it was good and one time not so good. Quick service.
The food is good, prices are ok. We only ever order take out so I am not sure about their service. We ordered ahead and was told food would be ready in 10 minutes and it was. My favourite item is their spring rolls, very different then anything else in the city. Summer rolls are ok but a little pricey for the size of them. The Pad Thai is great, I like that they include tofu in it.
I had the shrimp rolls the peanut sauce was perfect I was recommended the vermicelli which was really good.
I was back to the restaurant for lunch and dinner and I was not disappointed. It is a simple restaurant, but location is good, portions are very large, it is reasonably priced and the food is delicious. I particularly love the mango salad and the fresh rolls. I will be back.
My husband and I stopped here for lunch on Sunday, April 9th. Yvonne was our server. We ordered #104 'Special Spring Roll Platter ', #108 'Tom Yum Thai Chicken Coconut Sour Soup '. Yvonne brought my husband 's beer without a glass ... he had to ask for one and one of the two plates she brought were dirty. Of note the dirty plate was the one on top in clear view. The chicken in the soup was tough and if it had any coconut milk in it we certainly couldn 't tell by the appearance or the taste. The spring rolls were ok ... nothing special. We definitely won 't be back and do not recommend this establishment based on our menu choices and the poor service.
