First time here and very impressed. Super clean takeout with very friendly staff. Ordered a falafel wrap, a large tabouleh salad and a dozen small spinach pie. All were excellent. Will definitely be back to try the Shawarma. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Monaco Express:
Ever since Messi Shawarma closed down at Tecumseh mall (thx to COVID) we've been searching and searching for a replacement that's either as good or at least close. We tried this place yesterday, and while it was pretty decent, it just doesn't get close enough to Messi Shawarma. Especially the taste of the chicken. Shawarma! Just had the shawarma plate......numerous times.....it was quite good. Nice people. Shawarma!
Terrific food. Service that makes you feel like family. Prices that make you feel valued as a customer. Point at the menu, and you'll find something good. Can't say enough good things.
My only complaint is that I sometimes find pieces of gristle in my chicken shawarma bowl, which can be a bit off-putting, especially since everything else is nearly perfect. Also, I’m not sure if it was just my experience, but the menus move by too quickly to read in detail, so I'd recommend looking up the menu photos on Google for a better view.
I visited this restaurant for the first time, and I must say, everything was absolutely fantastic! There was a large group of nearly a dozen students, and the staff managed the crowd efficiently. My wife and I ordered the beef wrap, and all I can say is wow! Furthermore, the owner and the staff were incredibly kind and friendly. We will definitely be returning!
