Was Anonym at Monaco Express a mag?
First time here and very impressed. Super clean takeout with very friendly staff. Ordered a falafel wrap, a large tabouleh salad and a dozen small spinach pie. All were excellent. Will definitely be back to try the Shawarma. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Monaco Express:
Ever since Messi Shawarma closed down at Tecumseh mall (thx to COVID) we've been searching and searching for a replacement that's either as good or at least close. We tried this place yesterday, and while it was pretty decent, it just doesn't get close enough to Messi Shawarma. Especially the taste of the chicken. I went to Monaco last night for my birthday dinner. My husband and I frequent this place for their delicious shawarma and the friendly owner and staff. We decided to try the family feast this time and were not disappointed. The portion size was very generous, including a large salad, hummus, and pitas (not shown in the picture). If you are looking to feed a group of 8 or more at a great price, I highly recommend checking out this restaurant.
I recently visited this restaurant and ordered a chicken shawarma fries and gyro pita, however I was not informed that lamb is typically used in these dishes. After realizing this, I called the restaurant and the staff member I spoke with was extremely professional. They kindly replaced my order with chicken at no additional cost. The staff at this restaurant were respectful and professional, which is a welcome change from the poor customer service I have experienced at other places in Windsor. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone living in the area.
Today I went in and ordered with my two daughters....We wanted three Mixed Lavash shwarmas, Small fattoush with chicken, Spinach Pies, and Grape Leaves,,,,,Got home to complain because we found out that there was no dressing on the fattoush.....The owner just called and apologized and offered to drive out to Lasalle with a salad and other things.....didn't want him to go out of the way and he said he would take care of us on next order.....Made a bad experience much better.....
My only complaint is that I sometimes find pieces of gristle in my chicken shawarma bowl, which can be a bit off-putting, especially since everything else is nearly perfect. Also, I’m not sure if it was just my experience, but the menus move by too quickly to read in detail, so I'd recommend looking up the menu photos on Google for a better view.
I visited this restaurant for the first time, and I must say, everything was absolutely fantastic! There was a large group of nearly a dozen students, and the staff managed the crowd efficiently. My wife and I ordered the beef wrap, and all I can say is wow! Furthermore, the owner and the staff were incredibly kind and friendly. We will definitely be returning!
