Rustic exterior meets modern/hip interior for this small service coffee shop on Main Street in Willimantic. Stopped in for an impromptu visit after biking along the Hop River/Airline trails. Staff were friendly and hard working. Iced coffee was delicious, as was the garlic and spinach bagel that came with prosciutto, picked onions, greens and cream cheese. This café is absolutely stunning and picturesque. The coffee and food were both delicious, the prices were very reasonable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was perfect for us.
We visited this cafe regularly for breakfast and really enjoyed their special coffee. The local atmosphere and friendly staff made our experience even better. The service was great and, of course, the coffee was delicious.
I’ve had a lot of coffee in my day Grounded is some of the best! Definitely the best in Eastern CT. If you’re ever stopping by and there are some fresh croissants in the case, you need one!! Wish they had a rewards program
This is a fantastic spot for a delicious breakfast or early afternoon pick-me-up. They offer coffee and espresso in sizes of 10, 12, and 16 ounces, either hot or cold. They also have oat milk and cold brew available. Currently, their seasonal drink is pumpkin flavored.
Excellent coffee, can't beat. Pastries are fine, but the coffee is the big draw.
