Was Alexandra Cobb at Eastwind Windham a mag?
I love the style of this hotel. Came here for a ski trip to Hunter Mountain, which was a little under 15 min away. The rooms are unique with some nice touches (coffee/tea). Our room had a fridge which was convenient, but our friends who also booked with Eastwind said their rooms did not have a fridge. The water was hard, which I did not prefer, but was not a huge deal. I did enjoy the waterfall shower head though. Th... View all feedback.
What Claire N dislikes about Eastwind Windham:
This place is super cute and very aesthetic Instagramable but also very pricey for what it is. The size of the cabin is very small and many of the amenities we were offered didn't actually work. I really liked the location as it was close to the various mountains and hikes. They also sent us some very good tips for what to do where to eat. Would I stay again? Maybe, but if the amenities worked, yes. View all feedback.
Great place , for nice relaxing vac , stayed in A frame cabin with my wife it was a nice change for 2 nights, they have a nice little bar on the premises and a bunch of fun or relaxing things to do on their property, there is plenty of stuff to do nearby
The definition of tranquility every detail of the decor and guest experience was well thought out. Eg breakfast baskets, the hunter boots, the rain jackets and more! Also treated our dog with the most kindness and patience our dog was even allowed at the communal family style dinner but we didn’t want to bother the other guests with his begging for food so they packed it for us to have a picnic outside. Definitely would come again!
A great range of accommodation types, beautiful views and grounds, centrally located to a cute downtown and activities. The staff are amazing—friendly and go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and home! The grounds are set up so that you can have privacy if you want it or socialize with other guests as well. Fire pit area is amazing. Don’t miss the communal BBQ night—one of the best meals we’ve ever had!
Bjorn and team were amazing! Welcoming from the start ... the site was picturesque, especially at night. The bar and restaurant was SPECIAL ... I wish there was a location in BK where we live because I would be there every week. Eastwind is a place where you can enjoy what upstate NY has to offer and have a high quality resort experience. We are looking forward to going back soon!
