so much it is difficult to get there and get used to that there is only one Tyrolean language. I always have what I wanted to offer, clear, but it's excellent. robin, who cooks himself and also has time to serve his guests. from me there is a clear recommendation and I look forward to my next Tyrolean holiday, then I am sure I will look back. I have a little warning: if they offer a “Krautinger”, they just say no View all feedback.
We visited Jacky's ice cream café twice during a last holiday. Service was fast and friendly and everything we had including ice cream and hot meals was delicious. The view from the terrace is beautiful, definitely worth a visit!
Great location with magnificent mountain views. Super ice creams and delicious warm food. It is warm and cozy in cold snowy days. But really great outside sitting on a sunny winter day. Great with the furs and blankets they offer. Great stop when you walk from Oberau to Auffach and Neiderau.
We came upon this cafe after a ramble from the neighbouring village of Auffach towards Oberau took us along a steep footpath through the woods and brought us out into the hamlet of Roggenboden. The licensed cafe, whilst doing traditional tyrolean hot dishes, really specialises in turning ice-cream sundaes into works of art! These desserts were a real treat, the service was friendly and efficient, and the visit didn't break the bank. Be aware that the signage in the road isn't very clear and the cafe itself hadn't put up any signs to say they were open! So, if in doubt, ask a local and try the door!!
Nice restaurant with good food deserts. Especially nice for children private playground, a children's area with Lego other toys, Wii Playstation.
Amazing venue with awesome views, kids play area and food. Much more than an ice cream parlour.. You won't be disappointed.
