Was Jany Hills at Kupferdachl a mag?
We were wandering around Vienna in the early evening, when we stumbled upon this wonderful Austrian pub. As soon as we walked in the vibe was welcoming and alive. The establishment was buzzing with patrons so we knew we had landed in a good place....The service was outstanding, and the food was amazingly good! We both had the Wienerschnitzel and agreed it was the best we have ever had. I also ordered the duck filets... View all feedback.
What Cristóvão Ramos dislikes about Kupferdachl:
Das Leupolds liegt sehr zentral und verfügt über einige Aussenplätze. Das bestellte Essen war soweit okay, allerdings fehlten uns bei den Schnitzeln die Beilagen . Bei der Vorspeise war der Spargel leider in der Balsamicocreme ertränkt. Die Preise liegen etwas über dem Niveau. View all feedback.

Most restaurants in this area are closed on Sunday nights, so this was kind of last resort. The food was not bad per se but everything was supersalty, and, to my taste, with an excess of butter. The service was not good; the waiters sport...airs of superiority whose reasons are hard to grasp.
As it was our last hour in Vienna, we wanted our kids to try the famous Keizershmarn pancakes. A quick dessert, for a sweet little memory at the end of our beautiful and full of fun Viennese trip. We were about to catch the train...to the airport and this restaurant was very convenient in our area. My husband went for the luggage from the hotel and I decided to wait for him in Zum Leopold while the kids eat their pancakes. Everything was pretty cut to the minute, even our last cash money were just the right amount for the bill. Maybe this is one of the reasons for the following attitude from the staff. Anyway, we ordered 2 kaiserschmarrn and 2 hot chocolates. The bill was over 30 Euro which is not a cheap deal for two desserts. My husband left all our cash which apparently didn 't cover the expected tip. After this he left really fast with our son as the train was about to come while my daughter was still picking up her bag. Then one of the waiters came to us and pointed at a piece of pancake on the floor apparently droped by my daughter. He said in the most sarcastic and ugly way: You forgot something. But don 't worry, I 'll pick it up. Your husband saw it, but nevermind, I 'll do it. . Look, I don 't say that leaving a dirty sight is right, but leaving a dirty impression is unacceptable for a good restaurant. Aren 't they supposed to clean anyway after us? Was it necessary for the waiter to pull such an ugly scene in front of the kid? After we paid not a bad price for 2 pancakes and 2 waters with cocoa? Let me be objective this is a nice place, with a good menu, authentic atmosphere and even tasty kaiserschmarrn. But everything went down the drain for that ironic little comment and the waiter 's face expression. Very bitter and very mean. Bad last impression from such a good city.
The food was unfortunately very mediocre. Service was very slow and the waitress ignored us for prolonged periods. Overall disappointing.
With the small and poorly dressed salad. The schnitzel was scarce, not to say that they were not on the plate. They took a long time to serve us. I will not come back
