The food was pretty good! Not my favorite, but it was decent food. Went there on a pretty busy day with a party of 4 and it took very long to get our food or to have a waitress check up on us. Not their fault though, the place was pretty much fully packed, but it was still a little disappointing. We had dinner here on a weekend. We were seated right away. It looks like they have more outside seating than inside however the glass walls did a good job of keeping us warm. The food arrived quickly and was good. The staff were very good. My pineapple drink was fresh squeezed and a refreshing change. We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious; we were fortunate to visit during a peak season for bluefin tuna, which was featured as a daily special and was absolutely fantastic. The Venezuelan beef tostones were also exceptional. The service was impressive, especially considering there was only one server handling everything. There were many locals dining there, which is always a positive sign. Plus, the views were stunning!
The food was excellent, and the view from the patio was stunning! The servers were very friendly.
Everything was simply delightful. I ordered the Mi Bowl with shrimp, and it was delicious and quite satisfying!

Amazing food and wonderful, friendly servers. So glad we chose to eat here. Even though they were busy Indiana took the time to talk with us and give us some family history and background of the restaurant. We had a crab empanada, fresh fish dinner and a Mi bowl...rice, beans, lettuce, avocado and chicken. Would definitely go again if we return to Shelter Cove.
