Absoloutley lovely coffee and milkshakes! Food was quick, hot and incredibly tasty. Unfortunately didn't have room for dessert so will be visiting again as the cheesecakes look amazing. View all feedback.
What Paulo Johno dislikes about Java Cafe-Bar:
We popped in on our way back to the car for a coffee and a slice of cake. The coffee was bitter and the cake was hard and dry, clearly chilled too much. The worst thing about the place is the smell of grease from the deep fat fryer. It’s a bit confused, I’m not sure if it’s a cafe, restaurant or bar. View all feedback.
Laura and ben, I can't believe I haven't yet rated you! You saved my life with the lunch today, I was honest, though I wanted to break up if I had no Java repair! Top Food, Top Service, Top Café! so glad that it is before my door! keep the excellent workers! the supplements to the menu are fabulous
Maybe the best round food I ever had, I had the huh, pesto and mozzarella panini, after eating a panini for the whole week in whitby, it came with the best salat and coleslaw I've ever had. sure to say it will be my going to cafe every time I'm on the way! can't wait to taste the breakfast before they go home tomorrow!
I have gone past this place on travel to whitby in 2017 and had never had the time to visit: but today I have managed to! late the day and near the time they closed the kitchen, I had expected a warm greeting: but after a relaxing cuppa and watching 'friends' on the telly, I ordered a 'all breakfast'... a beautiful meal was perfect. (although next time I exchanged my black pudding for drilling. I don't know when I'm back, but I'm back.
Quirky caffe with delicious food (we had the smoked laughs and touches for a late breakfast) to arrive decent. if we were living in front of the site, I would be regular!
Lovely casual cafe and the breakfast was spot on I opted for eggs and bacon. 3 eggs and 4 rashers of bacon was just right. Also dog friendly downstairs
