This place is amazing! The food and service was superb! No joke some of the best Italian that I have eaten, and considering we were waited on and cooked for by the same person the owner deserves a lot of praise. 10/10 Vegetarian options: Multiple pastas, appetizers, pizzas, that are vegetarian friendly Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner View all feedback.

. Poor service asked only seen waiter to order and that was it. . Food was awful, anemic mince, no sauce in bolognese, carbonara full of lumps and burnt pizza.. Informed waiter on issues and she couldn't of cared less took the food and walked away. AVOID.
I have been working in Livingston for a month and Chenzo’s was recommended to me. I ate here a couple of times. The food is absolutely delicious and, although I’m not an expert, seems very authentically Italian. The menu is varied without being over facing. I didn’t struggle to pick something that I fancied. The second time I came here, I brought a colleague, who was equally impressed. The staff are very friendly and helpful, with just the right amount of attention. I definitely hope to return when I’m next up here. The sort of place where you can dress-up, or not, and you don’t feel uncomfortable as a lone diner.
Friendly easy going restaurant with excellent fresh food. Thoroughly enjoyable. Family run. Easy access from main road.
My husband and I were heading to Bathgate on Friday night for a show and looking for somewhere close by to eat beforehand, after a quick google search Chenzo's appeared as an option, reading the reviews etc we went ahead and booked and we are so glad we did! The reviews certainly live up to expectations. The owner and his wife were lovely and very attentive, with the time we arrived we were the only table in the restaurant but the atmosphere was so nice that didn't bother us. The food was amazing! We really should have stopped after our starter and main but the thought of delicious homemade dessert left us no option but to try I am so glad we did! We left absolutely stuffed but it was worth it when the food tasted as good as it did authentic homemade Italian cuisine that we will definitely consider making the 40 minute trip back to Uphall for again!
We had a lovely evening in Chenzo’s last night. Delicious authentic Italian food, relaxed atmosphere great service. We definitely won’t leave it so long before we visit again.
Wonderful Italian Restaurant. Went on a Monday afternoon while my Car was getting its MOT. Very quiet, so was sat and served quickly. Food was fantastic. Will visit again
