Wir waren mit unserem englischen Freund im Kartoffelhaus speisen, es war sehr lecker. Unsere Bedienung war sehr nett, des Weiteren war die Erläuterung von Gerichten in Englisch kein Problem, auch die spontane Organisation eines leckeren Drinks für die Ladies war absolut bemerkenswert.Der Service war prima, vielen Dank dafür, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Wir waren an einem Samstag, später Nachmittag dort und bestellten Pfifferlingschnitzel von der Tageskarte. Das Essen kam schon nach vier(!) Minuten, ungefähr zeitgleich mit den Getränken. Das Schnitzel und der Salat waren nicht gut, die Pfifferlinge ok, es fehlte aber eine Sauce. Das Gericht war äußerst lieblos angerichtet. Die Tischdecke (gummiertes Kunststoffgeflecht) war schmutzig. This restaurant is located in a beautiful location and a beautiful building. The menu is quite diverse with German and local dishes. I have the daily special that was a very small steak and a little bigger calf steak. Steak was so hard that I almost couldn't eat it. The calves were delicious. But the baked potato was the best. Wife had a Greek dish that was good, but the meat was too good.
Food okay but nothing extraordinary. We had to wait over an hour for the food. Nice waiters. The potato snaps was very good though!
The food is excellent, all dishes delicious and sufficient. The service is always friendly and accommodating. We come back here every year when we're on vacation and not just once.
