The staff is consistently friendly, and I appreciate the conversations while I wait for my food. The meals are always delicious, and the wait time is short. As for dietary restrictions, I don’t use much salt, if at all, and they accommodate my preference. I usually order takeout for brunch, and the cost is around $10–20 per person. View all feedback.
The service is to slow, to dark, to smokey in there and need to be clean in there.
I highly recommend Chicken Delight for the best comfort food in the northeast NC area. The owners are the salt of the earth! Very sweet and beautiful people!

Food was good until until I noticed a dead fly in my cabbages I had a turkey wing plate that was 12.00 I immediately got disgusted. So I took what I had left on my plate back to the restaurant and that didn't go really well, I was told they don't have flies and It doesn't look like a fly and I must've gotten it from somewhere else meanwhile she's playing with the fly in my face like im a joke. I got a refund but it's the principal of things . Don't play with my food after supporting your establishment. not to mention most of the time the food has to be warmed up in a microwave upon placing an order unless you are getting something fried. the Mac and cheese was sitting on the counter uncovered for anybody to cough , spit etc , they use their bare hands to touch and make your food . Overall service 1/10 never again!
