Not been here before but got a take away last night and it was delicious!! Had it for lunch today and it was MORE delicious. Best in the area by far. Got a loyalty card too! View all feedback.

The chicken padsanda tasted like rat ****, I’m a massive lover of curry our family’s favourite so whenever we eat out 9 out of 10 times it will be curry but this wasn’t even curry it was awful and we also had a Kemar Nan there was no meat in it until the very bottom bit. Really impressed and happy with my recent curry takeaway. The Dansak has a good level of spice and plenty of sauce. Really good finally found a good curry takeaway in Uckfield. Also customer service was friendly too which is always a bonus
When this place was first taken over by Star of Bengal it was amazing just like restaurant food as a takeaway. Things had been getting less good for a while but the meal we had last week was horrid; tasteless, smaller portions and chicken that was so tough it was inedible. I'm posting this in the hope that they may see it and make some changes. It definitely used to be Uckie's best and it would be so good if they could take that top slot again.
I am thoroughly impressed with this restaurant. The portions are generous and the spice levels are just right. The customer service is also very friendly, which is always a plus. I have finally discovered a great curry takeout spot in Uckfield.
We recently had the best curry we've had in a long time. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious meal. Excellent quality.
