I always order the Brisket Quesadilla at this restaurant and they are delicious with fresh tomatoes and sauteed onions. The portion size is generous, enough for dinner, lunch the next day, and even a snack. However, I gave them a 4-star rating because they fry them in too much oil. This is a smoke house! It's about the meat. And the meat is for sure the star. This is not about fancy sides or done up add-ons, however the Brunswick soup is phenomenal. Also the sauces are home made and very good add ons. If you have never had banana pudding, get you some of theirs, you will be in love and making it for desert. I don't find myself speechless many times, but this place found me speechless. From beginning to end it was TOP NOTCH! We were visiting family from out of town and went to celebrate my cousin's 40th birthday. The outside environment with the smoker and lights is a GREAT sitting area to enjoy dinner and/or wait to be seated inside. The restaurant is located in a neighborhood. You don't expect to see it then all of a sudden there it is! Let's START with Jim! Oh Jim our server, how he made us feel like we were sitting at his family table. THERE WAS NINE of us! And he managed to meet all of our needs before we even knew we had a need or want. He brought out all of their sauces ALL amazing! Try them all! Their brisket was the best that I have EVER had! BY far! The only disappointment is that they live too far from us in Florida for a drive to dinner haha! The banana pudding for dessert was fantastic. The fall off the bone dry rub baby backs were PHENOMENAL! I will say this pass on the fries. They have MANY other sides that are delicious for you to try you can get fries ANYWHERE. I'm telling you pass on them and try one of their other delicious sides. Next time I may just order one of everything! Already excited for our next trip in November!
