The ambiance in the restaurant is cozy and traditional, especially in the sunny areas, but there are also several seating options to choose from. We enjoyed dining outside on a beautiful day, and there’s a covered area available for colder weather. The view of the landscape and the horse fields at the back is simply stunning.

On Friday, I visited the Millhouse for the first time for lunch with my mother. We arrived without a reservation, which turned out to be fine; it just meant we had to order at the bar (not a big deal). The food came out quickly, even though it was quite busy for an early afternoon, and the portion sizes were enormous! I really enjoyed the meal! However, even as someone with a big appetite, I think the portion sizes should be reconsidered, as we ended up wasting quite a bit because we were so full. I looked around at the tables, but I think that was due to staffing levels. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is that we overheard a staff member speaking quite aggressively about something, which made us uncomfortable. Other than that, I will definitely return!
I visited for lunch on a Friday and had a wonderful experience. The seating was comfortable, the menu offered a great selection of options, and the service was exceptional. Plus, the high-quality napkins added a nice touch!
