Was Kate at China Chilcano a mag?
Good food, great service, but really quite loud. It was very distracting to try to catch up with an old friend and we are young and without hearing issues! For this reason, I would go back to a different JA spot for a great meal with less noise. View all feedback.
What Debra dislikes about China Chilcano:
The food was good but it was sooo loud, it was impossible to hear my friend. It was unfortunate because I would have stayed and gotten some more food but I couldn't hear at all. I don't like to keep saying “what?” View all feedback.
The food was excellent and was served quickly. Our waitress was outstanding. However, a manager who was stationed nearby seated us in a cramped corner. There were two available booths that were given to other couples. We would have been much more comfortable in one of those booths, but the manager closest to us, wearing a charcoal grey suit, was not very attentive.

We did the sochu pairing with the tasting menu and it was outstanding! The team presenting was so knowledgeable about the woman owned distillery represented in all of the beverages served. The tasting menu was excellent! The Chef described in detail each of the items and the GM was attentively serving along with the staff all night.
This restaurant was awesome! We had the Mother's Day tasting menu. Every down was jam packed with flavor. Jose Andres has created a menu and experience unlike any other. I love the Chinese Peruvian inspired flavors. Love the concept of blending those two cultures. Drinks were fun too.
The food is always amazing, i truly love the peruvian foundation with the chinese and japanese food (with a peruvian criollo touch). We had ceviche, causa limena, dimsunm, and a kiwicha dessert with chocolate. pisco sour cocktails.
