My daughter treated me to breakfast here yesterday and what a fantastic experience. Jodi (spelling? was fun, witty, went above and beyond any waitress/manager I have experienced for a very, very long time. She made my grandson special shaped pancakes and promised him more surprises on our next visit. She is a great asset to the restaurant with a wonderful attitude. So I would like to clarify that the first time I went to Johnny beans I had a great experience, the service was relatively quick and the food was good. However the second time I went it was the opposite, we were seated and waited about 15 minutes to get served beverages and proceeded to wait another hour until we got our food, even people who had arrived after us were served their beverages and food sooner than us wh... I was finally able to get a quick drink on my third visit to this restaurant. The food is good, but don't expect to get a quick drink here. It's more of an internet coffee bar where you can only find basic coffee and soft drinks.
This restaurant is a lovely, peaceful spot with delicious food. It is clean and cozy, and everyone in our group was impressed by the quality of the food. Check it out! You won't be disappointed.
They are now offering taco salad once again on a specific day of the week.
As an outside town that just went through Jonnie's, it was a little hard to find (it is a mixed use building, right to the basement). He also appeared in my search for coffee shops, making expected counter service, but turns out that it is a seat. No problem, but the service was fast and they probably had a cozy small area best described as reading corner where I sat and ate, food was good as the service was. Would recommend
Had only a late breakfast, food was great, service good and had a great expresso drink!!!
