Zano's in Waretown, NJ, is hailed as one of the best Italian restaurants, reminiscent of the "Old Neighborhood." A group of Trenton cousins, craving Sicilian cuisine, were not disappointed by the authentic flavors and cozy atmosphere. Despite a longer wait time for food and some slight disappointments with particular dishes, overall, the experience was enjoyable. The Veal Parm and Shrimp Scampi were highlights among the delicious offerings. Zano's offers a true taste of Italy, earning a solid recommendation for those seeking a genuine Italian dining experience.
I had chicken marsala. It was overcooked and tough. Husband had chicken parm and said it was good, especially the sauce

Very happy with my visit today! Lew took care of me and hooked me up with a special Paisan sandwich. It had chicken cutlet, soppressatta, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, arugula, cherry peppers, oil and balsamic glaze. He even heated up the prosciutto for me.
