Good brewery restaurant beautiful presentation of the restaurant, we were satisfied with the price-performance ratio the food was good taste and also visually good. Nice friendly service, but also a little easy on what we found very pleasant. We would recommend it.
The most beautiful hiking weather, sunshine and pleasant temperatures – we have rounded the Feisnecksee, a lake in the Müritz National Park through a narrow tomb with the lake. With a detour to the Devil’s Break, a mooring area with large meadows, 16 km of hiking trail have come together. Now we're talking about the fertilizer, and we're getting a quick decision. In a previous city tour through goods, we have met the rat cellar. So let's go! The Ratskeller is located directly on the New Market in Goods. He works on the web as a brewery inn, but beer is not brewed there. Lübzer and Ducksteiner are served by the barrel. In front of the building with a semi-circular balcony, which is grey on the ground floor and red on the upper floor, the outdoor gastronomy of the restaurant spreads on the marketplace pavement, typical beer tables and chairs. The interior underlines the prestige brewhouse character. Blank tables, light and dark brown, uniform chairs and various maritime accessories fill a part of the guest room on the ground floor. The other part of the guest room is more barely equipped. In front of bright beige wooden tables, dark padded stools face dark padded benches on the other side of the table. A guest room is in the basement. Ratskeller – Guest room in the cellar The bare wooden tables are covered in front of ancient walls. A number of mirrors on the fragmented stone walls cast the picture of the arcs and the furniture into the room. There is also a lounge in front of the basement. Ratskeller – Lounge It is a rustic ambience that deserves its four stars. When we enter the place, only a few tables are free. Apparently, an older gentleman with a roasted head hurls through the guest room with loaded plates and serves a larger group. As it turns out during the evening, he is supported by a resolute old lady with humorous impact. She'll take care of us too. She dominates her job, served skillfully and is kind. You realize she's in business for a long time, after her appearance in the beerhouse business. She asks for our satisfaction with the courts. Only her “complaint management” needs an update on what is still to be told. Our drinks, • a Riesling (0.2 l for my wife Riesling on the map and the • 0.5 l Lübzer (4. € for me, notes them mentally and serves the drinks slightly later well cooled and properly tempered. In the meantime, we have become a part of the menus handed out by the lady. The tasteless vegetables (Broccoli, cauliflower, fluted carrots seem to be a TK bag and is partly too long cooked. Tastefully, my love of lobster sauce can't win anything. As we eat, our service lady asks if it tastes. My wife seems to have been waiting for this question. “No, the potatoes are hard,” it shoots like a pistol from my mouth. Ratless, asking look of the lady from the service, then she grabs the fork laid down by my wife, crushes one of the potatoes on my wife's plate and comments: that lies on the potatoes because they would be delivered peeled. It's a hard core. She does not go further to the calibrated raw and hard rosemary needles. That's what resoluteness looks like, so listen to lazy excuses. After all, my wife later gets a speciality of the house, a herbal brandy to which my wife has a certain sharpness. Chili particles float on the surface. The cheerful men's round next door becomes curious and speaks to my wife how to get to such a free shot. My wife tells the story of the peeled potatoes with the supposedly permanent hard core. “Should be delivered: This makes everything even worse!” says one of the wet cheerful young men. The saltlessness of the straw apples, which he later complained about, did not reach a free liquor. There's something to say to my matjes. The three “marinated” pieces of mate on my plate are salty, at least saltier than otherwise mildly salted matjes. In addition: Of course, the French “mariner” means “single” or “in salt liquor” and was previously practiced for the preservation of the fish. Today, however, “marin” is understood to mean inserting into a spicy, usually acidic liquid. I expected this – and also got it in other ways. I didn't notice anything about herbs or sour taste at my matjes. Together with the apple slices, the matjes can be eaten, but not enjoy. The roast potatoes are as good as possible, but they also have a portion of fat. The salad set is plentiful, but is dressed with too little, only a shiny parchment on top. After the fat on the roast potatoes, a “solvent” must be produced. I leave an ice cold • Malteser Aquavit (2 cl for 2.50 € through my throat). If the wet cheerful men's round hadn't been sitting on the side table, we'd have had a deadline after the experiences we had made, such as grief knocks at our table. We have nothing to do with cleanliness. We weren't in the toilets, though. The performance of the kitchen and the appearance of the service lady is not fair to the price of food. If the dishes were impeccable, the price/performance ratio would go through as well. Maybe our evening in the Ratskeller was a slipper. However, if we lived permanently in goods, we would have a shattered measure of time passed before we again carried over the steps of the rat cellar.
