Was August Hudson at Copperhouse Tavern a mag?
This was a “half way” place to meet my daughter and her toddler for lunch. Read the reviews and took a chance! Pleasantly surprised! Food was very good and came out quick. Good children’s menu too. Would go back! View all feedback.
What Lela Prohaska dislikes about Copperhouse Tavern:
I ordered the Caesar salad, adding a piece of salmon. The salmon was a little undercooked. The Caesar salad was basically a bowl of Romain lettuce that they charge like 13 or $14 for. I don’t mind adding the 5 or 6 dollars for the salmon, that was worth it. But I think it’s crazy to charge $13 for a bowl of Romain lettuce. I think they forgot the shaved Parmesan cheese. We only had one server for the night, which meant we waited 30 minutes for our table without even being greeted or offered water. We would have been more understanding if the staff had communicated the situation from the start, but we only found out after I approached the hostess. Eventually, our waiter, who was kind, took our drink orders and food orders. The food was good, but the customer service was lackluster during the first half of our visit.
I might consider returning to Copperhouse Tavern because it's important not to judge a restaurant based on just one visit. However, the food was only average (a little overcooked), and the service was disappointing. We had to actively seek out our server whenever we needed anything, and there were only a handful of other customers in the restaurant at the time. We contemplated ordering dessert and after-dinner drinks, but after being completely ignored for at least 45 minutes, we decided to go elsewhere.
Good place for fast, not too expensive business dinner for after work drinks. various good quantity.
I'm happy to see you back on OpenTable. The food is fantastic, and the service is excellent. The beer selection is pretty good as well.
The food was disgusting but I inhaled it because I was starving and I was afraid I wouldn’t be able to start eating it again if it if I stopped. Waitress and the rest of the staff were nice, restaurant itself was fine, if you’re in the sports pub type stuff. I’ll definitely never go again.
