The staff were friendly, and I... read more I had a really enjoyable stay. The shared bathroom was clean, and the bedroom was tidy and comfortable. It was also quite quiet. The staff were friendly, and I really liked the fish and chips. However, the T-bone steak was more like a minute steak—very thin and overpriced. The building itself is beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.

The fi... read more I am not an expert on pubs, we just dropped in there for a good lunch and a light cold beer while we were passing through and that's exactly what we got. The fish and chips were better than what you get from some places next to the ocean, the staff were courteous, the beer was cold and the toilets clean. Happy Days!
