Was Anonym at Local Grind a mag?
Having visited once before and finding the coffee ordinary we thought we might try our luck on the food. We were quickly greeted in arrival, order taken soon after. Water and wine arrived quickly and the gnocchi and chicken burger soon after. Service was great, restaurant was about a third full. Food was very good, servings maybe a touch on the small side - so value was ok. Bottom line is we will go their to eat agai... View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Local Grind:
Tucked away behind The Watson in Walkerville, this place makes great coffee, but I was disappointed in the small range of snacks to go with it.Excellent menu choices if you are looking for something a bit more sunstantial though. Parking is a bit of a problem as there is restricted on-site parking and finding a street park is not always easy. View all feedback.

Great they open on public holiday! Nice coffee and hot cross bun. It was a lovely quiet location where I could talk to my friends. Friendly staff who would give us water! Not many staff would remember nowadays esp when you are so busy. Highly recommended.
This restaurant has the best food and coffee! The atmosphere is fantastic and the staff are really friendly and helpful. This was my third visit and it was great each time. As someone originally from Melbourne, this place reminds me of home with its diverse menu and departure from the usual dishes.
My husband and I needed a caffeine boost before a day full of wedding festivities, but we didn't want to waste time searching for a cafe. Luckily, we were staying at The Watson, so we decided to try Local Grind for our morning pick-me-up. The latte we ordered was absolutely delicious - rich, bold, and the perfect temperature. We were so glad we decided to give them a chance.
