I went out to eat with my wife Lynsey and two friends. The ambiance was fantastic, and we had a wonderful culinary experience. The service was excellent as well. We will definitely be returning! View all feedback.
Absolutely fabulous! Amazing! Simply the best! Silvia and John have created the most beautiful hotel and restaurant. Windlestraw is outstanding in every aspect. The hotel rooms are exquisite, reflecting the love and care put into every detail. The six-course set menu was the best I've experienced in many years. Our stay was first-class. If I could give it six stars, I would!
We stayed here for 3 days celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, John and Sylvia are excellent hosts, stunning location, house and rooms are beautiful. Food excellent. We will recommend to our family and friends. Thank you John and Sylvia

We have just returned from our third visit to Windlestraw, and once again, Sylvia and John were outstanding hosts. Our room, McIntosh, was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The delightful culinary experience and the warm welcome we receive are what keep bringing us back. I highly recommend this restaurant with accommodations to anyone who enjoys great food and the company of wonderful people. A heartfelt thank you to Sylvia, John, and Bramble for a fantastic stay!
