Was Al at Tomo Eatery a mag?
We had the stone grills, seafood chowder and tap beers. Very generous portion and the meat cuts were very tender. Best seafood chowder we had in NZ throughout our trip there. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 View all feedback.
We had dinner at Tomo Bar and Eatery. What a fantastic place. The service from the gentleman at the bar was wonderful. He was very friendly, welcoming, and funny. We had the Stone Grill with 4 meats, and it was fantastic. You get to grill your own meat at the table. You might think why should i cook but it's a great experience to try. Very highly recommended a visit.
I just dropped by for a quick snack after the tour at Waitomo, and wow! The food and drinks were fantastic, but even better was the service. I've never encountered a traditional barkeep like this before—someone who truly cares about their customers. The gentleman made rounds, checking in on each table to ensure everyone had what they needed and was having a good time. It was truly a delightful experience.
We visited during Easter. We had a long wait as it was a holiday. The food was delicious, and we plan to visit again to avoid the holiday rush.
