Was David F at Jack Tar a mag?
I called at Jack Tar last week, I went there because at the end if the day it was almost the only bar/ restaurant that still had sunshine. The bar has recently reopened, I think it used to be called pepe's bar but it has had some alterations, a light refurb and has changed its name. First time for Patacon con Tudo enjoyed a cheap meal by the beach with a 6 euro bottle of house white that was more than just ok thanks for a nice experiance.
I have not had Ceviche like this since I was in Nicaragua. It was hot with fresh chilli and just perfect with a Jarra served in an iced glass on a hot afternoon. It does not get better than that.
Vinaros has many bars and restaurants, but we found this nice bar on the corner close to the port. The owners are very friendly and full of good advice which gives the place extra charm. Family-friendly, relax atmosphere with great food and a good location with a terrace overlooking the beach. They serve food and drinks. We tried the burgers and they were simply amazing. There is something for everyone and the prices are good. Will return definitely on our next visit. If you are in Vinaros, don't hesitate to visit Jack Tar and you will enjoy.
The Jack Tar burger was 8.50 but they make it in house and it is big enough and Had an egg. It was very nice i could still taste it on the walk down the promenade. My kids had the broaster chicken which was also well done. Service friendly and helpful, the owners were very casual yet everything was just right
