This restaurant has a wonderful ambiance. We came here based on the great reviews and comments about their gluten-free options, and they did not disappoint. The waiter was exceptionally friendly, the food looked and tasted amazing. I highly recommend this place. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Sudur Vik:
I enjoyed the local char, deep fried camembert, and onion rings at this restaurant. All of them were delicious. The fish was cooked perfectly, and the camembert with black currant sauce was especially delightful. I wish I could have had more of the sesame sprinkled bites. Can not be picky in vik, they have like a restaurant throughout the city. they offer two vegan curries and two vegetarian or vegan salads. also a vegetarian suppe of the day offered! come back!
Nice ambiente, cleary marked vegan options. Unfortunately just two curries and two salads available. No starter or dessert...I asked the waiter if there is any vegan starter possible but the answer was no The curries were tasty but not really special. Very common and no replacement of the chicken with some kind of tofu etc.
The waiter was extremely friendly and accommodating. He pointed out some vegan options that were not listed on the menu, such as vegan cheese for the pizza and vegan ice cream for dessert. The complimentary bread and sundried tomato tapenade were vegan. I loved the veggie pizza with vegan cheese and the vegan chocolate ice cream for dessert. The menu also included a vegan burger and vegan Thai curry options.
The food at this restaurant is amazing. They offer a few vegan options like soup, curry, quinoa salad with falafel, and pizza.
