A neat little museum primarily about Hapsburg furniture and the logistics around its making and moving, which was included as part of the Sissi pass . Definitely worth a visit for those curious about the small technical details of history, and the history of design
The Imperial Large Divan (1828) by Ernest Gissl is a masterpiece of Viennese Biedermeier design. Commissioned for Empress Carolina Augusta, it perfectly balances imperial power with domestic comfort. The contrast between the deep, polished wood and the vibrant blue silk upholstery is striking.
