Feedback
Forage restaurant offers an attractive menu with tasty food, though some diners experienced half-hearted service. Despite some mistakes with reservations and slow service, the trendy and busy atmosphere adds to the overall dining experience. The menu may lack vegetarian options, but dishes like duck rilliette and gnocchi are flavorful. While some found the food good but not exceptional, others raved about the octopus being the best they've ever had. With friendly and accommodating staff, Forage provides a great dining experience for various occasions such as anniversaries or casual brunches. The overall consensus is that the restaurant is worth a try, especially for those looking for delicious food in a vibrant setting with quality service.
Nice place where we took our breakfasts. a varied and original menu for dishes as beautiful as tasty. impeccable service and warm welcome. We recommend. and hopefully return:-)
We had a great time, all the dishes we tried were super creative and well crafted. Our server was super friendly.
Other restaurant I had the pleasure to taste at vancouver. in absolute, among all the tried, was the best. I wouldn't call it just affordable, but not too high: average. the room looks great, very nice waiters with a great desire to chat. We took some tonnp, halibut and duck, which exceeded my expectations. not excessive account, considering what we ate. super recommended, I would gladly return!
Not a good experience. I went there with friends. 3 of us ordered the 3 course tasting menu with a selection of 3 different drinks. In a restaurant like that you would think they would describe the course a little bit when they bring it but nothing. One of the course was supposed to be risotto with mushrooms and lobster. None of my friends tasted the lobster, it was just risotto and mushrooms. I took the tagliatelle, it was not cooked enough and not good.. Given the price, we were expecting a better quality of food. While we were still enjoying our dessert, the waiter came to tell us they were closing the system in 10 minutes and that we had to pay the bill. Shortly after that, we saw a mouse in the restaurant!! A mouse!! We told the waiter who didn’t care at all and instead told us they were closing in 5 minutes. He was basically asking us to leave and not showing any concern about the mouse. So my friends who took the 3 course menu didn’t know what they had to eat or drink but we got to share our dinner with a mouse! Disgusting! The total bill was about $500. For that price and for a place like that, you would expect a better experience and better service and no mouse! Seeing a mouse in the middle of the restaurant with the staff not concerned at all makes you wonder what’s in the kitchen and how clean is this restaurant. I had better experience and service in less fancy restaurants. I will not go back there and I do not recommend this place. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 2 Service: 2
