I contacted Chrissie at Cod's Corner to inquire about catering fish and chips for my mom's surprise 80th birthday party. The event was scheduled for a Sunday afternoon with 50-60 guests. We were told from friends not to order from here but we’ve never had any issue with the food so we persevered. Second time running ordering over the phone that the order was completely wrong so this time I handed the driver the list I’d read out over the phone when making the order. Eating at this restaurant is a very heartwarming experience, with charming service that makes it a definite winner.

After hearing from friends that we should avoid ordering from this restaurant, we decided to give it a try anyway. Unfortunately, the second time we ordered over the phone, our order was completely wrong. I even gave the driver a list of what I had requested, but still ended up with the wrong items. I was promised a call from the owner, but have yet to hear anything. I would advise against ordering from this restaurant if you want your order to be correct. Make sure to double-check your bags before the driver leaves, as mistakes can happen. I would recommend ordering from somewhere else if I were you.
I made enquiries with Chrissie at Cods Corner as to whether she could supply fish and chips for my mums surprise birthday party. It was to take place on a Sunday afternoon with guests. It was the best enquiry i made. I never looked back. Chrissie was so friendly,helpful and genuinely eager to please. We collected the meal as arranged, no problems at all and everyone enjoyed it immensley. Well done..excellent customer service! I would definitely recommend Cods Corner.
