Great atmosphere and a beautiful old hotel. Love how they have kept its heritage and not renovated. Good value meals, schnitzel was nice and juicy and great chips. Staff friendly and helpful View all feedback.

The food was only added to by the swarm of flies. If you’re going to charge around $100 for a below par steak sandwich and a beef and reef then at least spring for air con and fly screens. The steak in the steak sandwich was inedible. Come on, it’s a pub staple. I’d bypass this place and go to Patsy’s. Never again. Service: 4 View all feedback.
This is essentially my ideal pub. The building is charming and historic, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is lively. The pub menu is among the best I’ve seen. I dined here three times, and each meal was outstanding. The fact that it’s just a 30-second walk from the caravan park is the cherry on top. I absolutely love it and will definitely return.
We had a wonderful dining experience with a great ambiance. I ordered the brains with vegetables, which were cooked to perfection, just like my mother's recipe—delicious and creamy. The vegetables and mashed potatoes were also expertly prepared. The traditional pub atmosphere provided a cozy contrast to the stormy weather outside. This pub has been beautifully renovated while preserving its original charm. It was delightful, and we will definitely return. Thank you, OV!
On June 13th, the take-away food options in Urunga were quite limited. The only available choice was the Ocean View Hotel, which was bustling with both dine-in customers and take-out orders. Despite a fairly long wait, the food was outstanding, and the kitchen staff, as well as those taking orders, remained courteous and impressive under pressure. Great job! I look forward to enjoying a dine-in meal there next time—it's a charming classic pub.
