Was Anonym at Seafront a mag?
My husband and I have been to 7 fish and chip shops in Hervey Bay and this is the best of the lot. We eat here every week and enjoy it every time. The standard of food is consistantly high and the service is very good too. View all feedback.
What Anonym dislikes about Seafront:
Batter was ridiculously oily. Drain the oil after cooking. It's pretty basic. Regardless of the quality of ingredients the meal was ruined. Threw most of the meal away. I guess it's my fault for not taking it back and requesting a redo. View all feedback.
With friends recently & called in here as it is close to the water park. The food was quite expensive & only very average. Quite underwhelming to say the least.

Waited 45 minutes for a large serve of chips and gravy had to remind them of the order and then no gravy 1 hour 1/2 for a serve of chips never again a lot of unhappy people in the same situation
The staff at this restaurant are inexperienced and rude. They have unpredictable closing times with no explanation, and sometimes they don't even open without any notice on their website. However, they do offer a nice selection of tap beers, cocktails, and other drinks. The manager or owner (I'm not sure of his title) is very friendly and accommodating, willing to replace anything if there is an issue. Unfortunately, the bar staff lack people skills and are impolite. They also have a strange policy of only allowing one drink before and after a meal. Overall, I would not recommend dining at this establishment.
