The brettle, located in a side street almost directly at the ulmer muenster, is a bright starting point in the city, central but a very small little hidden. in the (frueh / spaet) summer with a small huebschen backyard, which is included to stay.Since about at the beginning of 2017 "under new ownership," which is unfortunately not of advantage: the warm cue was reduced to two daily dishes, now there are almost only small supplements and cold salads. you have more focused on the sales of the car, the menu of the seaweed is very clear!And yes, there are still them, the fruity, for which the board always offered a perfect starting point. However, the sortiment has also been significantly reduced here, almost only cold breakfasts. Café brettle. the cosy cultural café, situated away from the trubel, attracts with a simple honeymoon map of vegan, vegetarian to good Swabian or even oriental. a cool beer to make a delicious caffe with a final cake, what do you want as a gast more?
I was nicely surprised to find a small restaurant with vegan food close to the Ulmer Münster. The special menu of the contained a curry and dhal, both looked very delicious and as the waitress said where 100% plant based. 3 out of 4 cakes were marked as vegan too and the hot drinks could all be made with organic oat or soy milk. I also found a vegan scrambled egg (tofu) on the menu. The cake we enjoyed was very delicious and the prices are reasonable. I will definitely go there again. Another plus is that the staff is very friendly. Update: I went there again with meat eating colleagues and we had a great dinner with a delicious thai curry (optionally with meat). Everybody was happy and I made my colleagues jealous with my vegan cake afterwards (they were too full to eat more). Brettle has a great atmosphere where people with different eating habits can enjoy a great time together. I will go there again. Plus: the food looks stunning and tastes very good. I love the Brettle ! They always have 2 or 3 vegan cake options, which changes every day. The vegan scrumbled eggs are so good, and the pancakes too. They have 3 different plantmilks. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is comfortable. Highly recommend this place! I visit it mostly every week.
