Never been to one of these before and I loved it! The food and coffee were very good and they had a very nice selection of board games. Definitely a fun spot to hang out with some friends and enjoy some games. View all feedback.
My boyfriend and I love coming to this restaurant for our date nights! The atmosphere is so relaxed, the food is delicious (though a bit pricey), and the staff is friendly without being intrusive. It's like the perfect mix of a cozy cafe where you can unwind, listen to good music, and maybe even play a game or two. You have the option to bring your own games without having to pay a fee, but they also have a great selection to choose from, including classics like Hungry Hungry Hippos.
This coffee spot in the city is truly underrated! Who needs Starbucks when you can relax with some games and wifi, while savoring healthy menu choices and delicious drinks? The game selection is impressive and the atmosphere is perfect for a hot day. Skip the Google search and head straight to this gem.
My first visit to Boards and Bites was on a Sunday afternoon. It was clear that this place needs to expand as there were no available tables, resulting in some customers not receiving service. Despite this issue, the concept of playing board games with friends was enjoyable and each customer appeared to have a good time. The food, from the boards to the bites, was delicious with fresh and innovative sandwiches featuring superior cheese choices. The hummus was particularly tasty with a strong garlic flavor. Overall, Boards and Bites offers a simple yet well-executed concept. My only suggestion would be to add more tables to accommodate the demand.
Great place and always a stop when I go to Tyler. Sad, the DFW area only has one place like this in Downtown Fort Worth. Games are a great way to relax, engage minds and get people together off of their devices, over coffee. I must add that the Southwest Chicken Sandwhich is also very good and reasonable.
Coffee was good. I loved how the games were organized. It makes it really easy for someone like myself, without much knowledge of a lot of board games, to be able to try and find new games to play.
