This place is amazing! I really love the bread and olive oil they bring to the table. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is very nice, calm, and romantic. A great place for a date or to just enjoy great food. The staff is friendly and attentive, and Bernard is always making sure you're taken care of. My only complaint is that I brought my wife here on a date once, and now she just keeps wanting to go back! View all feedback.

My favorite place to eat in Tyler! Specials are always fabulous and decadent.
Ok so we came again tonight.with no other expectations than a great meal after a rough 24 hours and a soon coming trip back to Alabama.
To say this is the BEST place to have a romantic/intimate dinner is an UNDERSTATEMENT. My wife and I have made Bernard s an Anniversary tradition since moving to Tyler. The food is fantastic, the staff is very professional, and the ambience is perfect. We always order off menu specials. Speaking of which, the staff has these items memorized..it 's amazing and goes to show the pride and respect they have for the restaurant and the customers. For an excellent fine dining experience I HIGHLY recommend Bernard 's.
The food was absolutely fantastic! I discovered this restaurant through a Facebook group dedicated to great dining in Tyler and decided to give it a try based on numerous recommendations. I have to say, it exceeded all expectations! The dishes were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. We started with mussels and crab cakes as appetizers, and I ordered the special stag chop, which was incredible. My husband chose the crab-stuffed trout, and we both agreed it was some of the best food we've had in a long time! The ambiance was lovely as well. If you're looking for a quieter dining experience, I recommend asking to sit upstairs. We'll definitely be returning!
Best dining experience in town. I tried the lasagna for the first time. It did not disappoint. And the tiramisu is amazing!
