La Bomba is my favorite restaurant in Tulum! It is a beautiful private oasis in the middle of the bustling Tulum, the perfect jungle restaurant! Decor is super stylish with lots of details. I love the bar and the cocktails are the best I had. Food is Mediterranean with a Greek swirl, so very fresh and versatile. The fish dishes, where the best, I also loved the pasta and desserts! Especially the mood in La Bomba is very special because of the beautiful surroundings, the amazing staff and funky tunes! Don't miss the live music / dj sessions as their very different places in Tulum!
BE WARE!! SCAM!! We booked a table for seven people via Open Table for New Year's dinner, when we arrived they mentioned there was a 250 dls PER PERSON fee. The moment we stepped in they pressured we paid immediately (SIGNATURE ON BOUCHER) this seemed really weird to start with considering the place was EMPTY, so we proceeded to pay and ordered drinks and dinner, while we were there barely three other tables arrived which NONE OF THEM had to pay the 250dls/person fee (We asked) The moment we tried to talk the issue out with the manager she played absolute no interest in trying to sort the issue out and walked away (VERY RUDE) Finally when we asked for the bill the waitress was not allowed to give it and we have to leave knowing that we consumed $600 and got scammed for $1945 dls TOTAL SCAM
