Absolutely glad I stopped from smashburger as it was forever and a day since I am here! I went with the classic double-mash, but a single Patty. Also the tasty pommes that has rosemary and garlic! Wow! Such a delicious combination! The spices are not excessively powerful and the frits had such a nice and light crunch, so good! The burger meat itself is very high quality, but a little on the thin side, so I would have the double! I know that for the next time. Otherwise everything was good - especially the service when Chelsea was so nice and friendly. She also encouraged me to fill out the survey, so I could get my frits for free!! Love that they are locally owned and operated, so I have to stop while in Tucson!
I enjoy stopping only once in a while to enjoy their gluten-free options and my favorite is the sweet potato fries. If it wasn't for the Pommes, I'd probably go less, just because of the cost. A burger the sweet pot. Fries and a drink put me back $23.00!!! Ouch. The food was good, but that's toooo a lot. I won't spend so much money on a splout in a while. I think from now on I'm gonna stick to the Pommes. You're worth the money. I say the burgers are not bad, just not worth the costs. For $23.00 I think I at least woke up.
Alanis is a joke and shouldn't work on customer service. I stood 10 minutes before the welcome in the cash register of an empty restaurant. Then she watched B.S with employees on her lunch and ran to take the restaurant cleaning instead of my order. It took 13 minutes to stand at the counter to even place my order, then another 10 to get it. There were 3 other customers when I arrived that all had their food already. I've paid $15 for bad customer service and an attitude because I've tapped exactly what she deserved. ZERO. You don't need my money, and I'm definitely going to spend it differently. Read the majority of reviews and you will see that ALANIS ruins this location.
If you?re wanting curb side like they advertise DO NOT go to this location. The lady who I called was super rude. She stood at the Front door and motion for me to walk to her to pick up my order and then didn?t even have the entire order ready for me to walk to her to get. I then asked her if I had to walk to her and she proceeded to get another employee to bring my order to me curbside. They both gave me dirty looks and the second woman was extremely condescending and fake after her and the other elderly woman both glared at each other because I requested curbside. I?m not sure if they were just ready to go home for the day or what but this interaction means I will not be coming back here. I had a really long day and wanted the convenience offered only to be rudely surprised. Definitely not the way you treat customers!
I?m a first timer and a Buddhist and I usually leave only positive reviews, so for me to leave a negative, it has to be bad. Whomever made them must have been in a rush or something. Nothing on it that was listed on the ticket. It was, however, smashed. So, I guess they lived up to their name. I?m very sorry but I was very disappointed. Didn?t even get the fries. Fries usually make people happy even if there is a mistake. I know your job is hard and tiresome but please take pride in your work. Thank you for your time but I won?t be eating here again.
