Was Anonym at Capt Submarine a mag?
If you don't know what a Donair is (and nobody in the US ever heard of them) it is a Gyro with a sweet yogurty sauce. I had it in Nova Scotia the last time I was here (11 years ago) and had to have it now that I came back for vacation. It was great, you'll really enjoy it. View all feedback.

I love the steak and donair sub, but on 3 occasions I had to walk out as the staff was putting my sub on a dirty tray to go into the oven, when I pointed it out they brushed off a few bits and said it is only cheese!!! I could clearly see bits of meat from previous subs (I do have allergies). View all feedback.

I had never tried garlic fingers before, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that they are essentially a buttery, cheesy pizza on a thin crust, sliced into strips.

The sub was absolutely delicious! What made my experience even better was the woman behind the counter. She was friendly, conversational, and helpful, and she prepared my sub quickly and efficiently. Service: Takeout Meal type: Lunch Price per person: CA$10–20.
