Best bar in Trieste, which we only found on our last day. It's a mix of library, bar and bookstore. Lots of (young) people come with their laptops to have coffee or a drink while studying.
I come to Trieste fairly often and this is one of my favorite places, especially when I need to get some work done on my laptop. It's a combination cafe, bookstore and coworking space, with a space in the back for live music, book presentations and so forth. They serve coffee/tea and beer/wine/spritz, and snacks like pastries and small sandwiches. Spacious and cozy at the same time, fast wifi, friendly and relaxed environment. Books for sale at the front. You really can't go wrong.
I had a quick lunch at Knulp, as it usually happens when I am in Trieste for work. Both the quality of food, the cultural offer, and the small details of this cosy place would urge me to come more often, if I only had a chance! This kind of places are precious for a lively town.
A very good place to meet friends and make new ones. Cozy and friendly. Many events during the year. Perfect for a coffee, lunch or dinner. One of the places with the best free WiFi in Trieste. Un ottimo luogo per incontrare amici e farsene di nuovi. Accogliente. Numerosi eventi durante l'anno. Perfetto per un caffè, il pranzo o una cena. The place is perfect to study and concentrate. Order some coffee and get on with your work cause you will definitely work a lot! It is usually full of students doing the same, studying! At night, is better to go out and drink beers with friends since it gets quite noisy.
