We visited sugar in October 2016 as we were in Trelew at the beginning of a holiday crossing the patagonia following the steps of the Welsh settlers. We had a fantastic meal in this modern and elegant restaurant and enjoyed a couple of bottles of excellent malbec. our guide looked a lot at the best restaurant in the city. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Sugar:
the dish I ordered was delicious, but the company that had some difficulties with the menu. It was explained, but the charges added more than the menu indicated. this was because the additions were not clearly indicated. the credit card was not returned at the right time. a little disturbing. nothing strange happened, but still.. . The food is exquisite and abundant, varied dishes, meats, salads, pastas, all with an extra touch. The attention of the whole table is excellent. We were touched by two mozos, one took the order, very attentive and great with the recommendations, the other brought us the drinks, the dishes and the account, educational and with all the tips of how to properly serve the table. The very nice and birn atmosphere located in front of the square. Super recommended.
Nice place. Good attention! Rich and well presented food. A little expensive for my taste... Milanese Swiss at 4,500... and fries apart!!! A garrison (not a portion) to 2,000!!! Caro...
Pros: very good the coffee, the attention of the mozo and the cakes, I could not dine/almorzar to give my verdict... Contra: the atmosphere and the furniture/vajilla perhaps half old, like that could be improved or aggiornar. (Perhaps it's styling like this and it's going well)
Good gastronomic offer at reasonable prices, excellent service, the staff is very friendly and the facilities are comfortable.
The food is not what it used to be. Sonzo dish, the vegetables lacked cooking and the shredded meat was super dry. Nothing outstanding. The only thing that could stand out is the good attention of the waiter, nothing more. The dinner was not even worth what we paid for.
