Seven Hogs is a place where tradition is truly honored, attracting both tourists and locals alike. During our visit, two musicians performed with instruments, but unfortunately, the sound was too loud and not very enjoyable. Arrived to the area and our B&B late in the day and the 7 Hogs was recommended by our host as a good and close place to find some supper. The place was moderately busy with two severs. Menu had two possibly gluten free options so when I asked, another primarily Asian menu was brought to us. I think we were forgotten for a while and then our order was taken and service improved. The gf seafood chowder was very good. My husband ate the brown bread that came with and it looked delicious he said it was a molasses bread. He ordered a Singapore chowmein and I had shrimp and broccoli with boiled rice. Both were good.
Great food, music, and a stunning view of Tralee Bay, plus some of the best pints around. If you’re nearby, definitely stop by and see for yourself!
My family and I had an incredible meal at Seven Hogs. We were staying in Castlegregory, just a few kilometers away. The menu offers a great variety of European and Asian dishes. The beef special was outstanding! The desserts were also wonderful. Excellent food and service. Highly recommended!
Stopped here for dinner this evening. Food was fantastic and service to match that! Would recommend highly.
