I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and the place was very clean. The view was amazing. I had a Guinness and had a great conversation with the locals. It was the first day of the busy season so there were many travelers coming in to chat. I didn't try the food but I saw others ordering sandwiches and they seemed satisfied.
Upon entering Murphy's Pub, you may initially think it's not as impressive as other pubs you've been to. However, as the place fills up, the music starts playing, and you have a pint of Guinness, the charm of the rustic cement floor grows on you. Murphy's is a true locals' pub, nestled in a small town on the coast of Ireland. It's a place where you can meet your neighbors and get a taste of the community spirit. The town of Brandon is a picturesque place, and the residents you'll encounter have likely lived there for generations, creating a tight-knit atmosphere of friendliness. While Murphy's may not offer anything extraordinary, it's a cozy spot to relax and socialize, especially on live music nights. In Brandon, options may be limited, but you'll still have a good time at this charming pub.
