Was canadiangay at Canton Cafe a mag?
I called in my order as they picked it up to go. I ordered the house special chow mein With thin noodles. Sooooo good The owners are very friendly and it's nice to chat with them. The Canton Cafe and Ace of Taste chinese restaurants are next door neighbors and they could be twins. Both share a small menu and food that is more Canadian than Chinese. The food is very, very average and a bit bland. Yes, it is completely edible just don 't expect anything above average . View all feedback.
I eat here every Saturday for many years. I've eaten Chinese food all over the world. The quality is quite good.
Not just worst Chinese restaurant I have been too, it is the worst restaurant I have ever been too period. We went for lunch and wondered why it was empty. I think it is because the food was gross and really expensive. I get shivers thinking about it. I have been too lots and lots of small town Chinese restaurants and usually they range from good to great. I have never experience one this bad.
It was a nasty day outside so we wanted something 'a little more than nice' for lunch. I usually don't do Chinese for lunch, but today we broke the mold. We were greeted by Mama - surely Papa was in the kitchen. The food arrived fresh and very tasty. The service was just like home. Did I forget - The coffee was wonderful. Maybe I deserve this a little more often.
The service was top notch. The owner was welcoming and attentive. The Shrimp Chop Suey was tasty and fresh. A great mix of vegetables with a fair amount of Shrimp. The sauce was yummy and light. Old place, great food.
Amazing! Awesome food, great customer service!Family run since the 70's and it shows. Will be going back any time a Chinese food craving hits. Attentive to my children, great conversation. I just can't say enough about this place : I wish I could rate higher!
