Just picked up a takeaway, never again. It was absolutely disgusting, cold, tasteless and a complete waste of money. Should have taken it back and asked for a refund
I was hosting a family gathering of of which were having Chinese food. I went in person to the restaurant at lunchtime, ordered and paid for it to be delivered at that evening. It hadn’t arrived by so I rang them,...to be told that it must be out for delivery but they were very busy. It still hadn’t arrived by so I drove to the restaurant. After some discussion, a member of staff went into the kitchen and found our order in a large cardboard box. They were apologetic and gave me a discount. So we sat down to eat over an hour late (including two young children). If I’d followed the advice from my phone call, we would have waited all evening for it.
