Pilpel has emerged as a beloved destination for falafel lovers, serving vibrant vegetarian pittas that are both flavorful and filling. Diners rave about the crispy falafel and generous toppings, especially the unique sabich, an Israeli specialty loaded with aubergine and boiled eggs. Despite occasional complaints about portion sizes and rising prices, the overall consensus is that the food is delightful, with fresh ingredients and delicious flavors. The bustling lunch crowd can attest to its popularity, and while there's an appeal for more sustainable packaging, the culinary experience at Pilpel remains a highlight in London’s food scene.

What Anonym dislikes about Pilpel:
Of the many amazing memories I have of my trip to Israel last summer, eating the best falafel and hummous of my life ranks up there. So imagine my excitement when Pilpel opened near Spitalfields Market (which is where I work). For the past three months, I View all feedback.
I had a great experience at this branch located off Bishopsgate near Liverpool Street. After a long day of work, I was craving Piplel, but unfortunately not all the options I wanted were available. Luckily, Jarrell went out of his way to suggest an alternative selection that suited my tastes. He even took the extra step to contact another branch in Spitafields to prepare my Piplel container with all the original options I had originally requested. I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service and was more than satisfied when I finally enjoyed my Pippel. The combination of great service and delicious food truly made my day!
This is my favourite branch of this mini-chain, which offers a selection of falafel options and other Middle-Eastern dips and classics. Falafels are proper and freshly fried, richly garnished and deliciously crispy outside and moist inside. This venue is in a particularly atmospheric setting and the personnel is particularly friendly. Prices are reasonable. Great option for a quick, tasty and healthy meal.
Not only have they raised their price by £1 they have also reduced the size of their containers and the portions inside. To raise both the price and the portion decrease and the same time just doesn’t sit right with me at all. I won’t be using them for my go to lunch spot ever again.
This restaurant offers the best food and customer service. The falafel is always fresh and hot, and the pita bread is full and delicious.
