Located within walking distance of Canary Wharf station, this restaurant offers a mixed experience. While some guests have enjoyed the lovely ambience and delicious drinks, others have faced issues with slow service and food quality, especially criticizing dishes like the iskender. Portions are sometimes viewed as smaller than expected for the price. On the positive side, many patrons appreciate the courteous staff and the delightful birthday surprises. Despite some inconsistencies, the overall atmosphere and select dishes have enough appeal to draw patrons back for another visit. Still, potential diners may want to consider these varied experiences before booking.
I am never disappointed at Turkish Restaurants across the world, in U.K., in Spain, or somewhere else. Regardless of location or even social class! staff is usually very polite with a good knowledge of the menus. About the experience, I had the Sahan Menu composed of “Mercimek Corbasi” Tavuk Sis. The bread was half way crunchy and soft, the red lentils were delicious, not very spicy and the Grilled Chicken Shish was also delicious, although the dish was not well-cooked the concern was raised with the lady in charge of the restaurant who offered an answer from herself quite reasonable. Baklava was apparent on the dessert’s menu. In the end I selected the creamy Turkish ice cream . Would definitely come back, the majority of the staff members were sympathetic and polite.
The food quality at this restaurant is very low, as they used tomato soup in their iskender dish. Additionally, the owners are extremely rude. This was a waste of time for me, and I will not be visiting again.
Portions a little smaller than expected given the price. Staff are lovely albeit not enough of them. Cocktails (porn star martini) well portioned and delicious!
Lovely atmosphere and great food and staff. The location is perfect next to the water a must visit for couples to have a relaxing Sunday morning brunch.
Lovely Ambience, yummy food and drinks, my son loved their chips and chicken nuggets. Special Thanks to Muge for being lovely lady serving us well and surprised me with a yummy birthday cake, staff sang me a happy birthday song. I loved it, will definitely go back to try more from their menu.
