I have never really found comfort in stopping by this place, but they have new staff now. The store was very clean and organized, and the cashier greeted me warmly. View all feedback.

It's not what it used to be. Now it feels a bit unsafe, and every time I go in, I have to be careful not to leave anything on my seat and keep an eye on Ms. Molly or Ms. Lucille. View all feedback.
As for dessert, we had peanut butter pie. I was too full to try it myself, but everyone said it was excellent—very sweet with a nice crunchy peanut butter texture. Our server, Inez, wasn't very personable, but she did a good job. We also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, who was absolutely delightful. A funny moment happened at checkout when my friend and I nearly gave ourselves heart attacks! Don’t forget to try the old-fashioned peppermints available at the counter; it's quite the experience! Overall, we had a wonderful time with great company. I encourage everyone to visit this historical spot in our community and show your support!
This is an intriguing spot with a captivating history. It's one of those dive bars that exudes a bluesy juke joint atmosphere. The chicken sandwich here might just be one of the best in the city, and I've also heard that their burger is considered the unofficial #1 in town. One thing's for sure: you can't top the fantastic live music that fills this place. It's tucked away in a location that's easy to overlook; you really need to be part of the local scene to know about CS's. It's been around for longer than I can recall, and the vibe has stayed consistently great.
I visit this restaurant for the slushes, which are just eighty-nine cents, so I enjoy treating myself to one.
